After the elections, Jeff Rasley will give an update on the activities of the Scientech Foundation. Doug Gettelfinger will give an update on the Foundations first full year as a public charity.

MINUTES OF SCIENTECH CLUB ANNUAL MEETING, DECEMBER 9, 2024
President Andy Ratermann opened the meeting at 12:00 pm.
Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Andy gave a review of club activity for 2024.
Marty Meisenheimer presented Andy with a plaque honoring his year as club president.
Andy presented Douglas Sherow with his name badge signifying his Emeritus membership and Rick Whitener with a certificate of appreciation for all his work on our new website.
The following slate was nominated for club officers and directors:
President - Marty Meisenheimer
Vice President – Bill Halsema
Treasurer – Doug Gettelfinger
Secretary – Joyce Mallette
Class of 2027 Directors – Rick Whitener, Roz Webb, Becky Lomax-Sumner, Ed Koolish, Eric Peterson, Marvin Miller
Class of 2025 – one year term – Terry Ihnat
It was moved and seconded to elect the slate. All were elected.
Chris Moore then gave an overview of the Foundation and its activities. The focus is on programs involving elementary and middle school children. In 2024 the Foundation gave 19 grants totaling $141,000.
